Postdoctoral Researchers
Pennington Biomedical’s Drs. Phil Brantley and Leanne Redman were recently awarded a five-year, $1.75 million T32 grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health. The funding supports postdoctoral training positions in obesity research. It is the fourth time NIH has chosen Pennington Biomedical for a T32 award, the purpose of which is to prepare trainees for careers that have a significant impact on the health-related research needs of the nation.
